This presentation will share strategies and vision a future where we (1) intentionally work with students to bring purpose, growth mindsets, and grit–core elements of social emotional learning (SEL)–to bear on their learning journeys and (2) help them integrate these skills into their habits of mind as they move into their careers and personal lives. If we do this work well, especially in partnership with regional education, business, and civic partners, students will be better prepared for a dynamic workforce and to live well in a fast-changing world.
